Kroeger Kids Childcare is located 5 miles north of Bemidji, Minnesota. We have a preschool program called "Preschool in the Pines" geared for children ages 2.5 - 5 that operates every morning from 9:00 - Noon. We also have infant/toddler care called "Babes in the Woods" where infants are able to grow and expand their horizons in a safe and secure environment that is separate from the older children. Preschool In The Pines

Preschool children spend their mornings in a creative and FUN environment exploring and learning. Emphasis is not only on "academics" but also on having successful social interactions both with their peers and with adults.

Children follow a developmentally appropriate preschool curriculum, that features a
well-rounded variety of activities. They are given adequate time for guided free-play and social interaction. An emphasis is placed on exploring nature and the outdoors in our spacious yard and the walking trails in the woods beyond.

Babes In The Woods

For the most part, infants and toddlers are kept separated from the preschool age children. This provides them with a safe and secure environment in which to explore and expand their rapidly growing skills. They are given a lot of individualized, nuturing attention. Hugs and kisses dispensed regularly!

Infants eat and sleep according to their own personal schedule -- working toward a morning nap from
9:00-10:30, an afternoon nap from 1:00-3:00 and regular meal times.

All infant supplies are provided
except specialized formula.

Scheduling Options

Infants & Toddlers: 6 weeks to 30 months
$120.00 per week.

Preschool plus all-day care:
$120.00 per week.

Preschool classes run on the same schedule as the Bemidji School District.

Hours of Operation

7:30-5:30 Monday-Friday

Preschool Hours are 9:00-12:00

Breakfast is served at 8:00

Lunch is served at 12:00

We rest from 1:00-4:00

Afternoon snack is served at 4:30

About The Staff

Jodie Kroeger:
Has a 4-year degree from Bemidji State University in Elementary and Kindergarten/Early Childhood Education. She has 14 years of childcare and preschool experience and has done several years of substitute teaching.
She is married with two daughters.

Deb Holman:
Graduated Cum Laude from Bemidji State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and has specialities in Pre-Primary, Communication Arts and Literature with an emphasis in Special Education - Learning Disabilities and MMI. She has been a stay-at-home mom and has done substitute teaching in the Bemidji School district.
She is married with two sons and has made Bemidji home for the past 21 years.
